In the attic of an industrial warehouse.. we walked through a door and into a jewel box of a room draped in red velvet and lit by the warm glow of vintage lamps. Intuitive dance and sound opened the evening.. and we were mused by 4 models and the music of Fake James. Guest photographers Danielle Nicol and Keith Skrastins captured some lovely moments.

session 'Secret Door' We entered an unmarked back alley door... up an antique elevator... round the creaky floor bends.. and into the beautiful studio of local photographer Keven Steinhouse. The night was serenaded by Liz Stevens and the evening's golden drips were caught by guest videographer Chad Tweten of Welcome to the West. This collection of lovely images was created by our guest photographer Mark Reierson.

There we gathered at the alter of a beautiful vignette created by artist Rebecca Reid, where our muses Angela and Megan posed. Tethered together by a red rope.. casting a lovely crimson contrast against creamy flesh tones and bohemian layers of fabric and light. Guest musician Todd Stewart serenaded the night.

session 'Scale & Summit' We gathered in the newly opened Atelier Artista on a snowy winter's night, where the warm bones of the heritage building held us close and cozy. Our session was serenaded by Colton and Keath of I Am the Mountain and we also welcomed guest author Steven Snell who read a chapter of his book to us. Guest photographer Kevin Stenhouse took these lovely images of our night.

Session 'NEW AGE' An intimate gathering of 20 artists steeped into the beautiful grain of New Age YYC for an evening of collective art-making grounded in sage...healing crystals..and fresh brewed chai. We were serenaded by the music of local harpist Jennifer Crighton, and the models were adorned in handcrafted wearable art-pieces by Tahl - Urban Gypsy. Our guest photographer was Danielle Nicole, which was a lovely full circle experience being that she has modelled for us also.

Session 'Let Light' This session was held the old iconic FFWD headquarters. The beautiful old brick and concrete floors were a lovely contrast to the wash of warm light cascading over flesh.
