Session 'Sacred Spaces'
Held at Slate Studios, in the band room and common space. Host Deseré welcomed Off-Beat artists into her personal sacred studio space for the first time. Guest Photographer Cat McAteer captured the stories within the room in her beautiful journalistic approach.

Session 'Wild & Free'
This session took place in an old Slaughterhouse, converted into recording studios in SE Calgary. Local leathersmith Freyja Ulveland of FEHU handcrafted custom leather masks for our models to wear. Our guest photographer was Boon Ong. He struggled to capture the forms and the light in the dark space just as the artists did. The results were spectacular. Please visit boon's Figuratif page for an emergence into his work paired to music that lends to the whole experience of being in this environment.

Session 'Blank Page Bohemia'
Blank Page Studio is a beautiful creative space in the heart of Kensington, and operated by some of Calgary's most innovative and imaginative young professional artists. They host a variety of community gatherings, and we are blessed to have been welcomed back for our second figure drawing session here. Our guest photographer for this session was Evan Lewis of Winter Sun Photography. These images are dreamlike in quality, and capture the emotion of this session beautifully.

Session 'Movin' on'
Held at the original Off-Beat warehouse space, this session was created around a vignette of vintage suitcases and antique furniture. Our guest musicians were Tofu Stravinksy who serenaded us into sunset.
Keith Skrastins of Haus of Skrastins captured the evening on vintage cameras and intentionally expired film. The result is haunting and beautiful.

Session 'Dream Drawl'
The original Off-Beat Figure Drawing sessions were held in an old heritage warehouse in SE calgary. As the storage facility for a local film set director the space was a treasure trove of uniquities always ready to be rummaged through to create the most beautiful vignettes for our gatherings.
'Dream Drawl' was serenaded by local band Sealegs throughout a thunderstorm and into the light again. Our guest photographer Boon Ong captured the incredible beauty of the evening. His full gallery and accompanying music can be viewed HERE.
